Tara began using the Baby Signs® program in her home with her infant son, Hunter (now a very verbal 6 year old) in 2003 and experienced such wonderful results that she felt compelled to share and teach this program.
Tara became an Independent Certified Instructor in October, 2004 in Portland, Maine and has been personally and professionally using and teaching the Baby Signs® program for over five years in her home and to sold out classes all over Southern Maine. Tara has a BA in Advertising from the University of Nevada, Reno and has recently relocated her family back to Northern Nevada and is excited to bring the Baby Signs® program to the Reno/Carson area. Tara is the owner of Computer Artistry, Graphic Design.
At the peak of Hunter's signing (18 months) he had a vocabulary of over 120 signs and Tara and her husband, Don have experienced first hand the benefits of this wonderful program. They continued to use the Baby Signs® program after the birth of their second son, Phoenix, in Jan. 2006. Our family was a part of the beta testing phase of the Baby Signs® Potty Training kit when Phoenix was 18 months. By the age of 2 he was potty trained! It the peak of Phoenix's signing he had a signing vocabulary of over 100 signs.
